JYSK is looking for a Commercial Sales Coordinator to support the continuous development of the Portuguese market. You will report to the Commercial Sales Manager, who has overall responsibility for the country’s turnover and gross profit and is based in Germany.

What the role is about:

In Sales & Expansion, the main responsibility is to ensure sales and profitability for JYSK. This includes monitoring the market, handling pricing for articles across JYSK countries, analysing sales figures and taking action to achieve ambitious goals.

As a Commercial Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for several product areas, ensuring turnover and earnings within those areas in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual campaigns for different media channels, from article selection and campaign pricing to campaign evaluation;
  • Price assortment and contribute to the development of the best possible assortment composition;
  • Monitor competitors’ pricing strategies and campaigns to help ensure competitiveness in price and assortment;
  • Control key figures and launch necessary activities to reach defined goals;
  • Ensure that stores in the country receive the information they need, mainly through the JYSK intranet;
  • Handle ad hoc and recurring tasks related to changing seasons;
  • Participate in travel activities for meetings and competitor monitoring.

Profile:

  • Structured, proactive and analytical mindset;
  • Relevant educational background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar;
  • Good planning skills and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Analytical and structured approach to tasks;
  • Proactive approach to problem solving;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Good Excel skills;
  • Commercial approach and understanding of retail business, preferably with insight into how it gains profit and customers;
  • Residence in Lisbon and availability to commute to the offices in Moscavide, Lisbon.

Selection process in Portugal:

  • Applications are processed on an ongoing basis and the hiring process will be completed once the right candidate is found;
  • Applications are reviewed within 1 week, in business days;
  • If successful, candidates will receive a link to answer video interview questions;
  • The next stage includes two online assessments;
  • After that, there will be a short phone interview;
  • Candidates who pass the previous stages will be invited to an in-person interview;
  • The final step is a reference check from previous experience.
