About the role:
Sales are central to respond.io’s success. As an Account Executive, you will use proactive and inbound selling strategies to engage with mid to large-size businesses and close new business.
You will focus on Mid-Market customers across EMEA, driving the sales process with prospective customers and supporting expansion within existing accounts.
You will work closely with customers to understand their business goals and act as a trusted guide, helping them understand how respond.io can fit within their organization.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new opportunities to drive revenue growth;
- Own and manage the sales cycle from discovery to close, including qualification, solution presentation, negotiation and closing;
- Educate potential customers on the value that respond.io offers;
- Provide tailored solution recommendations based on customers’ business needs and usage patterns;
- Manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously, guiding them through different stages of the sales process;
- Handle inbound customer inquiries, addressing billing, legal, security and technical concerns;
- Act as an advocate for customers, collecting feedback to support ongoing improvements and product enhancements;
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings and emerging technologies;
- Position the company’s products effectively in the market;
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to contribute to the team’s success;
- Work closely with Customer Success and other teams to ensure smooth client handovers and alignment on client feedback and product improvements;
- Develop strategic plans for targeted key accounts to expand usage and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities;
- Support long-term client success and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS sales;
- Proven track record of success selling to mid-market accounts within the EMEA region;
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills in English and Spanish, mandatory;
- Track record of successfully closing sales deals within a B2B SaaS company, highly preferred;
- Passion for identifying customer needs and ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Ambitious and goal-driven mindset;
- Ability to thrive in a flexible and dynamic environment;
- Resilience in the face of challenges;
- Ability to speak French, valued;
- Familiarity with solution selling or similar methodologies.
