About the role:
respond.io is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join the team and accelerate their career in sales.
In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying prospects, assessing their business goals and determining whether their needs align with respond.io’s product capabilities.
You will convert prospective customers into opportunities for meetings with Account Executives and act as the first point of contact for potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to drive pipeline growth across EMEA regions;
- Create personalized outreach to multiple stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers, for key prospects and customer accounts;
- Provide a world-class prospect and customer experience through every interaction, ensuring they feel understood and valued;
- Become a product expert and learn to articulate the value of respond.io’s solutions to potential clients effectively;
- Keep meticulous records of interactions with leads in the CRM, including progress made, follow-up activities and next steps;
- Help build scalable demand generation campaigns based on data-driven insights and industry best practices;
- Identify and propose improvements to optimize results.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B SaaS;
- Clear and concise spoken and written communication style in English and Spanish;
- Strong desire to pursue a career in sales;
- Consistent track record of overachieving;
- Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator;
- Competitive, resilient and highly motivated profile;
- Great attitude and love for teamwork.
