Tax Compliance Specialist – Lisbon

Our client is a global leader in the energy sector and is recruiting a Tax Compliance Specialist for an expected duration of 18 months, with possible extension.

Your role:

• Execute indirect tax compliance activities, including the preparation, validation and filing of tax returns;
• Ensure timely compliance with tax obligations and established SLAs;
• Guarantee the consistency and quality of reported information;
• Analyze tax data and reconciliations, identifying inconsistencies, risks and areas for improvement;
• Monitor and resolve exceptions and issues related to compliance processes;
• Maintain continuous alignment with local tax teams, accounting teams and tax advisors;
• Foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation initiatives.
