Continental is looking for a Software Test Engineer / SDET to strengthen its QA team for the digital product ContiConnect.

Role overview:
Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center develops innovative digital products that support customers and internal teams.
As a Tester, you will contribute to the overall test strategy, ensuring smooth and high-quality releases throughout the software development lifecycle. You will participate in cross-functional testing efforts, create and execute tests, and support other teams in adopting quality best practices.
Main responsibilities:
- Create and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts;
- Contribute to the overall test strategy, best practices and release plan;
- Communicate with identified stakeholders for the execution of integrated testing activities;
- Integrate with the software development lifecycle, working closely with design, product managers and development teams;
- Ensure the product meets client specifications within defined deadlines and quality standards;
- Coordinate and perform manual and/or automated tests to validate product functionality, performance and quality;
- Work with test environments, test data preparation, testing tools and test automation implementation;
- Mentor development teams on quality best practices.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another related field;
- More than 2 years of experience in software testing;
- Solid background in manual and/or automated testing, system testing, integration testing and/or UAT;
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand complex business and technical environments;
- Excellent communication and coordination skills;
- Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams;
- Experience working in agile and Scrum/SAFe environments with remote teams and stakeholders;
- Ability to quickly learn a new product and think outside the box;
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools;
- Experience with X-Ray or similar test management tools;
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress;
- Experience with development languages such as Java is a plus;
- ISTQB certification is a plus;
- Proficiency in English.
