Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking an Angular Tech Lead to join its BPCE-SI (BPCE Solutions Informatiques) team, within the IT department, to work in a hybrid model from the Porto or Lisbon office.
Responsibilities:
- Define the application architecture, designing and guiding the overall structure of Angular applications;
- Ensure scalability, maintainability and performance of Angular applications;
- Make key technical decisions, selecting the best approaches, libraries, design patterns and tools for the project;
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices and style guidelines for the team;
- Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to standards, identify potential issues and provide constructive feedback;
- Resolve complex technical challenges, acting as the escalation point for difficult problems the team cannot resolve independently;
- Mentor and train team members, helping them grow technically;
- Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment where members feel comfortable sharing ideas and asking for help;
- Participate in sprint or iteration planning, estimating technical effort and identifying risks;
- Oversee and optimize development, build, deployment and monitoring processes;
- Present and communicate the technical vision and architectural decisions to the team, stakeholders and other departments.
Hard skills:
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript;
- Advanced knowledge of Angular, with experience in versions 19+;
- Good knowledge of semantic HTML5;
- Good knowledge of TypeScript;
- Good knowledge of CSS and preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS or LESS;
- Good knowledge of RxJS;
- Good knowledge of unit testing;
- Good knowledge of versioning systems;
- Familiarity with accessibility;
- Familiarity with design systems;
- Good communication skills in English, with B2 level required;
- Communication skills in French are highly valued.
