Key Account Manager Temporary – FMCG Retail Accounts | 12-Month Contract

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager for a 12-month contract to drive profitable growth by strategically managing key retail accounts, fostering strategic alignment and achieving critical business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and manage the client’s P&L, ensuring profitability and target achievement;
• Lead the negotiation and follow-up of annual agreements, including CGF, Trade Terms and counterparts;
• Define, implement and track annual commercial and promotional plans per client;
• Monitor performance, identify gaps and develop action plans to close them;
• Ensure alignment between company strategy, including brands and portfolio, and customer plans;
• Manage and optimize customer investments and product mix;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Field, Shopper, Category, Supply, Demand and Marketing teams;
• Drive successful product launches, campaigns and innovation initiatives;
• Build strong partnerships with clients, identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the FMCG industry;
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and actively listen;
• Solid analytical skills, including P&L management;
• Understanding of key commercial levers such as portfolio strategy, pricing, product mix, promotions and trade terms;
• Proven negotiation skills.
