Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon is looking for an Embedded Software Developer – Automotive Sensors to join its Engineering and Software Development teams.

Role overview:
In this role, you will take ownership of early-stage software development, focused on the left side of the V-model, ensuring robust architecture and compliance with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
Your contribution:
- Translate system and customer requirements into detailed and structured software requirements;
- Design software architecture and modules using tools such as Enterprise Architect and PlantUML;
- Develop high-quality, MISRA-compliant embedded C code for microcontroller-based systems;
- Perform static code analysis, using tools such as Astrée, to ensure safety, quality and robustness;
- Create and execute unit and integration tests using frameworks such as CANTATA;
- Ensure full traceability across the development lifecycle using DOORS and Jira;
- Collaborate closely with system, hardware and testing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Experience in embedded software development, ideally in the automotive sector;
- Hands-on involvement in V-model development, especially requirements and design phases.
Know-how:
- Strong knowledge of embedded C programming;
- Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards;
- Experience with software architecture and design principles;
- Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Jira and Git.

- Good communication skills in English.
