THE ROLE
As SENIOR HR & OPS SPECIALIST, reporting to the HR Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall people operations function of our company. You will be responsible for assisting with various HR processes, programs, and initiatives to ensure a positive employee experience and smooth HR operations, including payroll management.
Specifically, We Expect You To
· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for the headquarters and store employees (Portugal and Spain);
· Manage employee payroll, guaranteeing accurate and timely payroll administration by improving payroll systems and HR processes. Support the performance management process by coordinating performance reviews, tracking completion, and maintaining performance-related documentation;
· Support HR budgeting and FTE monitoring;
· Provide regular and ad hoc HR reports for Top management;
· Prepare and deliver information to external authorities and reporting duties;
· Ensure compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security;
· Administrative support on labor and contract management;
· Provide assistance in various HR administrative and strategic areas;
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general HR-related issues;
· Collaborate with Managers to address employee-related issues and provide timely support.
Requirements & Profile:
· University degree in Human Resources Management, Management, or similar;
· Minimum 5 years of experience of professional experience in similar functions, preferably in the Retail area;
· Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish;
· Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and payroll experience in Portugal and Spain;
· Solid knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish labor legislation;
· Proficiency in Excel, and other data systems (PowerBi; Sharepoint, etc.);
· Proficiency skills in HR systems and payroll tools;
· Data & analytical skills;
· Autonomy, flexibility, and proactivity skills;
· Results-oriented;
· Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Be a Plus:
· Experience in data analytics and reporting, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to drive insights and support decision-making.
