Job Opening: IT Support Technician
Job Functions
· Responding to technical support requests from end users of computers and software applications
· Setting up and installing new computers, networks and software
· Setting up user accounts and profiles on the network
· Installing updates, known as patches, to software applications
· Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications such as Microsoft Office
· Diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults
· Maintaining inventories of hardware and software
· Managing backups of servers, in case of data loss
· Keeping a record of issues and faults along with solutions, for future reference.
· Keeping updated the network diagram of the Organizations IT system
· Configure users and access privileges in Active Service Directory within Windows Server
· Configure users, groups and assets in Exchange Server
· Support Linux maintenance
· Support for server uptime and reliability. Assure hardware resources are available for physical and virtual machines.
Required Skills/Experience
· IT Engineer degree or similar (preference)
· Microsoft Technology Certifications or CK A/AD/S
· Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud
· Knowledge of Open Shift, or Redhat technologies
· Knowledge of Windows Operating System and Virtualization concepts
· Knowledge of networking concepts including VIPs, NAT, DNS
· Knowledge of container specific networking concepts such as CNI
· Knowledge of networking tools (ping, tracert, tracemon, tcpdump, etc.)
· Knowledge of VPN, IPSEC TUNNELING and other Remote desktop technologies.
· Knowledge of cyber security policies and hability to train
· Knowledge of Firewall configuration (Profiles, Rules, Logs.)
· Knowledge of SQL Server
· Basic programming skills for user interface (HTML, Javascript, CSS) is a plus;
· Knowloge of IT/OT(Industrial Automation) is a plus.
