Greenvolt Next Portugal is one of the main national companies in the renewable energy industry, acting in the national and international market in the production of energy through photovoltaic solar systems (UPACs e UPPs). We find ourselves in a continuous growth of our team.

Given that, we are looking for a Business Developer to work in the Portuguese Market, based on our Venda do Pinheiro Office

Summary:

Business Developer/B2B Sales in the business of promoting, implementing, and managing renewable energy solutions and similar projects. The challenge will be to work in a dynamic environment with demanding deadlines, particularly in the development of presentations and reports relating to decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the above-mentioned mission, in particular assuming responsibility for the following tasks

-Achieving the sales and contribution margin targets set each year

-Researching the market, identifying potential clients for company solutions in accordance with the company’s strategic guidelines

-Analysing tendering procedures, ensuring that all the criteria involved (internal and external) are met, as well as ensuring that the records and all the necessary documentation are present on the respective digital platforms where they are published

-Contact and meetings (face-to-face or remote) with potential clients to present the company’s products and services, in order to explore business opportunities

-Defining and analysing customer needs in order to adapt the offer to their specific requirements

-Establishing, developing and maintaining positive long-term business relationships with potential and existing clients

-In co-ordination with the technical team, present and negotiate proposals, including prices and other relevant commercial conditions

-Representing the company at events, fairs and demonstrations

-Carrying out commercial activity in accordance with the business processes defined by the company, in particular using sales monitoring and support systems (CRM)

-Collecting the information and documentation required for the commercial process and ensuring that it is kept up to date

-Proactively identifying business opportunities with current and potential clients

-Being the preferred point of contact with the clients in their portfolio for all matters relating to the commercial relationship with the company, ensuring that the client’s requests are effectively answered

Requirements:

-Proactive and focused personality with a “make it happen” attitude

-Agility and ability to act quickly in uncertain situations

-Degree or Master’s in Management, Engineering or related field

-Professional experience at least 3 years in solar industry

-Experience with electricity contracts (prefereble)

-Excellent track-record in B2B sales

-Experience of using CRM and sales management systems valued

-Excellent sales, negotiation and business relationship skills

-Excellent written and oral communication skills in Portuguese and English

-Fluency in PowerPoint and Excel
