Service Engineer

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Portugal team. This position will play an important role in further expanding our solar business in the EU markets. For more information about the company, please visit https://livoltek.com/

Responsibilities:

● Working with the team from HQ to plan the new products for the market.

● Market research, including the market analysis, solar industry trends, PV technologies trends, opportunities, and customer pain points.

● High level technical support for the sales and technical support team.

● Technical advisory services to clients.

● Working with the team from HQ to create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures.

● Ensure timely resolution of failure, corrective actions and preventive actions

● Provide continuous technical consultation and training for sales and technical support team, clients, install partners for inverters, battery storage systems and EV chargers and their monitoring software.

● Develop and deliver documentation such as: design guides, line diagrams, standard bills of materials, technical briefs, best practices, and training.

● Support new product launches and introductions.

Job requirements:

● Bachelor degree or above, major in power electronics or automation;

● Excellent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing;

● Electrician with relevant local electrical qualifications/licenses preferred;

● Have 2-3 years working experience in Energy Storage Products, Household batteries, PV Inverters and EV Chargers or photovoltaic related products;

● Practical and hands-on experience and expertise with distributed PV, battery storage and energy management applications;

● Experience in the design of inverters/converters, DC & AC systems and component interconnection methods between PV and energy storage systems and the grid;

● Strong knowledge of electrical and structural design components and manufacturers.
