Our customers are high-end international golfers (multiple markets and languages). We deal with a portfolio of 40 to 60 hotel references in the luxury segment. We are known for our service level, dedication to our customers and strong relationships with our local partners.

Job description

Portugal Golf Experience (www.portugalgolf.net) is opening a position to join the team as a Golf Travel Reservation Agent. The Golf Travel Specialist will be responsible for:

– Elaborating personalized quotes, travel proposals and itineraries tailor-made to the needs of the clients – checking availability and using the sales tools available in the company to calculate the best price offers.

– Managing reservations, coordinating all the details with the various suppliers.

– Managing the clients’ processes, organizing all travel components for the clients (transportation, equipment, hotels, golf, tours, etc).

– Managing the deadlines and payments.

Requirements

– Min. 3-years degree in tourism or similar.

– English Advanced proficiency (spoken and written).

– Locally based.

– Professional experience in the tourism industry of at least 2 years.

– Capacity to understand and use sales contracts.

– Knowledge of hospitality business.

– Results and service oriented.

– Excellent capacity of organization.

– Professional use of Microsoft Outlook.

– Golf knowledge is a plus.

– Other languages are a plus: Portuguese, German, French, etc.

– Autonomy and pro-activity.

– Motivation and positivity.

– Team spirit.

– Portuguese contract, Full-time. Good salary entrance level. Possibility to re-negotiate according to productivity.

– Flexible working times, Monday to Friday if preferred.

– Hybrid work system between home office and Cascais office (3 days in Cascais / 2 days at home per week – depending on performance).
