You will be the person responsible for setting up and managing a shared office in the center of Funchal, as well as some administrative / accounting work.

In the future, you will be responsible for selecting several premises in Madeira, more precisely in Funchal, that could be considered suitable to open a retail shop for Embellish.

Duties

Carrying out and dealing with administrative and accounting matters related to customer orders, managing an e-commerce site, managing warehouse stock, inputting data into the company accounting system, issuing invoices, bank reconciliation and organizing expenses.
Answering phone calls and emails, asking for quotes, contract negotiation, filing various documents and maintaining databases, creating filing systems, updating spreadsheets and other data entry tasks, storing sensitive information correctly, using problem-solving skills to resolve office-related issues, and some human resources functions.

Qualifications

Portuguese, resident in Madeira Island.
Experience in accounting and customer service will be helpful.
Reading, writing, understanding and speaking English well enough to communicate clearly and give instructions to colleagues, supervisors and customers.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while staying organized.
Ability to travel for 1 to 2 events per year.
Administrative Qualification or Bachelor’s Degree.
