In 2016 BERD launched a new Business Unit, the Modular Bridge Solutions, that already supplied more than 150 Modular Bridges. RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for formulating and develop the necessary knowledge to design and construct a bridge: from Design to Construction.

· Responsible to formulate and develop the calculations used in Design and Construction stages.

· Work with experts from different fields related to Bridge Engineering to achieve what is mentioned in the previous bullet points.

· Prepare the previously presented information to be deployed by the software development team.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Degree in Civil Engineering, (with specialization in structures or experience in Bridge Engineering).

· Resilient, versatile, and adaptable.

· Interest in the field of Bridges Engineering.

· Good level of speaking and writing English.

VALUATED SKILLS

· Previous experience in Bridge Engineering.

· Previous experience in Budgeting.

· Previous experience in Structural Engineering.

· Solution oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

· Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure.

· Portuguese speaking.

· Programming and math skills, that allow you to optimize routine operations and / or develop calculation tools.

· Interest in software development and capacity to deal with uncertainty related with early-stage software development products.
