Position: SAP BASIS

Location: Portugal

Contract Type: Freelance, 1-year with the potential for extension

Daily Rate: Up to 250 EUR per day

Language Skills: Advanced English (Spanish is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 3rd level incident support by accepting tickets, thoroughly investigate reported incidents, and deliver high-quality solutions within defined timeframes.
Ensure the timely and high-quality fulfilment of opened Service Requests.
Proactively monitor applications, responding promptly to monitoring events, and continuously improve monitoring strategies.
Propose solutions for requested new or changes in functionalities, providing accurate estimations for each request. Implement approved proposals.
Perform comprehensive testing for bug fixes and new/changed functionalities and document the provided solutions.
Offer technical guidance for enhancements to the solution in projects and AMS (Application Management Services) activities.
Collaborate effectively with other support and development teams, including external suppliers.
Participate actively in new projects, contributing your expertise and insights.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
Proven experience in incident management, service request fulfillment, and application monitoring.
Capacity to propose and implement strategies for improving monitoring.
Experience in estimating efforts for new or changed functionalities.
Proficiency in testing methodologies and documentation.
Technical expertise to provide guidance for solution enhancements.
Collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish is a plus.
