ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Marketing will decide the overall marketing strategy for Bold by Devoteam and will be responsible for its growth and financial performance.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading an effective marketing strategy to propel company growth in Portugal with the purpose of driving both brand awareness and demand for the company’s services.
As a results-driven marketer with deep expertise in digital marketing you will guide the strategic direction and operational execution to help expand and scale our platform reach. Combining a breadth of marketing expertise and proven success in digital market expansion, you will be a key contributor to the teams across the organisation shaping the future of Bold.
Additionally, as a member of the executive team, the Head of Marketing needs strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a level of business acumen that enables you to effectively communicate with internal teams, the executive board, and external stakeholders to ensure the company is aligned in their marketing efforts and vision.
The Ideal Candidate
This role lives at the critical junction of marketing strategy, people leadership and financial performance. The ideal candidate is deeply interested in technology, content, culture, and understands how to motivate a team to produce and amplify exceptional work that makes an impact and engages our community.
Define and develop marketing (traditional & digital channel) & communication strategies;
Understand and supports the definition of the company strategy to define accordingly the marketing strategy;
Develop a marketing & communication plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.;
Liaising with sales and offer teams to align objectives by defining a plan for the company to achieve its desired market positioning as well as offer development;
Uses different strategies to increase brand awareness and brand notoriety of the company services and boost the perceived value of the brand vis-à-vis what competitors offer;
Gathering crucial information about the target market of the company’s services;
Managing the way the company communicates important information to the target market;
Expand, develop and maintain media relationships;
Networking and promotion of the company within the marketing sphere and professionals;
Define and control the overall budget for the marketing department to ensure ROI according to the MKT KPIs;
Lead, manage, develop and empower team members.
The desired qualifications and skills are:
10+ years of broad-based and deep knowledge across digital marketing channels, ideally in B2B tech, marketplace, saas, paas, internet, or a closely related industry
Experience building, launching, and scaling tech-related products. Proven record of developing and executing new content series and content partnerships.
An entrepreneurial mindset, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias towards action.
Professional experience with Salesforce, Marketing Automation tools Google Analytics and Social Media;
Good knowledge in Google Workplace and Datastudio or Tableau;
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
