BIT is the Information Systems area of Sonae MC. A group of people who live for the business and technology breakthroughs, creating fast, cohesive management and decision tools.
We are looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to join our INFRASTRUCTURE TEAM at BIT.
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Senior Project Manager’s mission is to be a true leader and problem solver, lead challenging projects and coordinate between internal and external stakeholders, according to the BIT project management methodologies, standards and procedures.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOUR DAY…
Lead the project stages from project initiation to project closure and adoption;
Participate and act as enabler to the process change to an agile organization adopting an agile methodology for continuous incremental value delivery.
Ensure the realization of activities related to the daily management of projects;
Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with other internal teams or other departments at Sonae;
Ensure the compliance within schedules, service levels and budget among projects;
Prepare the periodic reporting activity, identifying improvement opportunities and acting in problem solving;
Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communication.
Assemble and coordinate project team members; assigning individual responsibilities;
Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time, on budget, on quality and on scope completion.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE ONE…
At least 5 years’ experience
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure services (on-premises and cloud) that are the underpinning and support of all technology services and solutions, including networks, compute, storage, virtualization, database management and application platforms;
IT Infrastructure projects implementation and delivery experience an advantage;
Ambition to lead and commitment to results;
Excellent problem-solving skills as well as good leadership skills;
Fact oriented, analytical mindset and people focus;
Degree in Information Systems or related field having accomplished a challenging scientific degree;
