Professional skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related to technical field, or equivalent experience;
– At least 3 or 4 years of experience as second-line (L2 support) IT Production Support for a business within a fast-paced and competitive environment;
– At least 2 years of experience providing Application Support for a high priority application;
– Experience in providing effective communication to the business users and other IT teams;
– Strong technical skills in database concepts and web applicatio;
– Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and remote teams;
– Extensive experience in analytical techniques;
– Experience in Scrum methodology is a plus.
Technical knowledge:
– Database: DB2;
– Protocols: CFT, IBM CDC, MQ, API;
– Javas knowledge (incl. J2EE);
– Other: Javascript, HTML5, Oracle, Unix Scripting.
Soft skills:
– Analytical and Problem-solving skills along with a customer/user-centric mindset;
– Detail oriented, analytical and excellent follow through;
– Excellent work ethic, self-starter, autonomous;
– Extensive experience in daily verbal and written communication with a diverse group of people: business users, IT teams, managers;
