The role is based in Porto, Portugal. The Financial Reporting and Data Analyst develops financial reports and provides analysis to the US management team. There is also on occasion a need to provide ad-hoc reporting to the rest of the Americas management team outside of the US. This individual will be required to become proficient with Agility’s freight management system, Oracle ERP system accounting structure, Insight data warehouse and BI reporting tools
Key accountabilities include:
Design, maintain and distribute standard customer and volume reports from Insight data warehouse and BI reporting tool
Responsible for maintaining JFS (Financial cube) static data cube and distribution of reports from static data
Responsible for compiling monthly management analysis pack
Responsible for issuance of daily/weekly/monthly job profitability reports.
Designs and/or customizes reports to meet business needs as defined by executive team and others
Performs financial analysis principally associated with customer and product profitability
Write Control queries to assist in report writing
Working with Insight team, implement and maintain business rules for the JFS data cube
Design ad-hoc reports as requested
Qualifications and experience for the chosen candidate include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
3+ years of applicable experience, particularly with operational/cost accounting and exposure to related software applications.
Strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel and access) and report design experience a must.
Interest in and exposure to Business Intelligence software a plus.
Global logistics industry background a big plus.
