As an Intern Automation Expert you will be key part of a new department that will develop, test and implement highly scalable robust industrial processes ready for the era of Industry 4.0.
The ideal candidate is passionate about robotics, automation and is always excited about developing outstanding solutions. This position also requires someone who is curious and keen to learn how things work and how to apply improvements.
To design, evaluate, build and implement complete robotic systems
To work with an interdisciplinary team to execute a solution from concept to production
To program a robotic system, write functional specifications using specific software, and design functional test procedures and production processes
To develop demo kits and applications to be used by other internal teams
To conduct training on applying Reiman’s automation technologies for internal teams, as well as strategic partners/customers when necessary
To help our Sales and Support teams to convince customers on Reiman’s application-level advantages and supporting them on site when necessary
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field
Qualification to take an internship under IEFP scheme
Ability to work in a demanding environment and work with highly ambitious delivery times
Strong hands-on experience working with robots, controllers, vision systems, safety networks, servo, I/O, integration and instrumentations
Desire and energy to work in a fast-paced agile environment
Thorough understanding and use of principals, theories, and concepts in mechanical engineering
Ability to develop sample code, application notes, and quick start guides of motion solutions and applications
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with interdisciplinary teams
Ability to effectively communicate concepts and write technical documents
Field experience with evaluating applications and recommend appropriate robotics solutions for diverse applications including complex, advanced and high-performance automation
