Job Title: Operations
Job Location: Braga, Portugal
(include, without limitation, the following)
Ownership of critical business functions (Financial Engine, Fund Management, Payments & Withdrawals, Risk management)
Management of the daily operations (Alerting, On-Call, Organization…)
Produce reporting related to internal process & external communication
Identifying inefficiencies in operational processes, then designing and implementing solutions
Documenting, maintaining, and improving standard operating procedures
Partner with cross functional teams on conference room scheduling, team meetings,event planning, and office logistics, including welcome and setup of new employees
Exec. support responsibilities, including managing schedules, coordinating external meetings, planning and coordinating travel arrangements
Manage email and voicemail inboxes for vendors, including responding to emails/calls professionally and promptly
Support accounting team with invoice submission and vendor profile management
Assist managers with team building and culture and serve as the barometer for team morale
Partner and support with facilities, IT and security to resolve any logistical issues and assist in every way possible to ensure tasks are completed
Assist in special projects and other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications and/or Experience
Background or experience on operations or financial services or related education
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and to the point
Prior experience at a start-up or high growth tech company is a plus
Resilient to stressful situations
Participate in the on-call rotation
Capacity to lead and to create an efficient operational organization
Self-starter with ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple functional groups
Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
Experience managing projects interfacing with technical and non-technical teams
You deliver. Good attention to detail and good time management are key to success.
