Our client is one of the leading companies in the energy sector with an international presence.

We are looking for a senior profile to be the IT Infrastructure Manager in Vila Real, Portugal (the location of the job will be in Vila Real, Portugal).

It will be necessary good level of Portuguese and English to work in this international environment.


Reporting to the head of IT in Portugal, the role will be to manage, monitor audit, review and propose improvements in the deployed IT infrastructure and security.

The Infrastructure Manager wil be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the systems and personnel that are at the core of an organization. The services under the responsibility of the Infrastructure Manager are typically the underpinning (or supporting) services that enable the delivery of customer-facing IT services.

Education and professional experience:

  • Degree in software experience.
  • More than ten years of experience working on IT infrastructure related activities.
  • More than ten years of experience working in cloud solutions.
  • Advanced English level (B2 – C1).

Professional areas of expertise and other competencies:

  • Experience managing external providers.
  • Experience auditing and/or implementing ISO27000.
  • Experience managing a service.
  • Experience in Mircrosoft and Linux enterprise applications architecture.
  • Experience in cybersecurity.

Project responsabilities:

  • Service metrics.
  • Monitor and control the service provider
  • Financial control of providers.
  • In charge of the technical aspects of the business continuity plan.
  • In charge of the local infrastructure and telecommunications service.
  • In charge of proposing improvements in the infraestructure and corporate security.
