Warehouse manager

We are looking for an open-minded warehouse manager to lead our team in Portugal and to coordinate the work so the projects are performed according to the needs and requirements of our customers. Functions to be performed:

Contact person for all warehouse and customs related matters / internal and external communication
Expertise in NAV and English
Management/organization and allocation of warehouse staff/holiday planning
Organization of the warehouse / provision of orders / planning the daily business.
Ordering of Dispatch Materials, considering an optimal stock level.
Implementation and compliance with a constant improvement process / cost savings.
Checking compliance with safety regulations and occupational safety
Planning and managing the annual Stock take
Providing Dispatch statistics
Invoice control (Currier Invoices)
Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse
Negotiations with freight forwarders
Determination of freight costs for internal requests

In order to be successful in this role:

You need to have previous experience in leadership and management of people and processes in an industrial context, preferably in the textile industry and to lead towards common objectives – minimum 5 years (mandatory)
You are process-oriented with good analytical and structured approach and ability to lead projects
You have solid knowledge of product requirements, regulation standards and testing requirements and to work with implementation of improvements related to quality, environment and safety
You are curious to learn about customer needs and requirements and to learn continuously
Your skills in English are at level B2 (required), you have solid knowledge in MSOffice and Dynamics Navision
