APO Group seeks to hire a Sales Executive for Africa who will report to Director Sales and Marketing. This position is an incredible opportunity to work with a high growth company that develops and sells solutions for promoting business activities to the media.

The successful candidate will be extremely entrepreneurial and excited by the opportunity to work with a leader in the press release distribution service. The Senior Sales Executive must have a proven track record selling communication or marketing services to global fortune 100 companies in the financial, pharmaceutical, technology and retail industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan – develop regional business plan, target territory and account plans, and annual/quarterly forecasts tied to company booking objectives. Sell – identify, contact, promote, qualify, and close new sales for all services under the APO Group umbrella, including Rugby Africa sponsorship.
  • Lead – Build and manage an international distribution network capable of marketing and providing a rounded value proposition long term.
  • Manage – maintain strong business relationships with all new/existing clients to optimize customer satisfaction and repeat sales opportunities. Utilize on-line Netsuite CRM to maintain up-to-date customer profiles, sales opportunities and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years selling communication services and PR related solutions. Strong existing business relationships with customers in the region is an asset.
  • Extremely comfortable dealing and negotiating with C-level management.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts & closing sales of GBP 50K+.
  • A proven track record of sales success meeting annual targets GBP 1M+.
  • International sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English, French or Arabic would be an asset.

Remuneration:

  • 45000€ + commissions (to be negociated according to profile)
