The Strategic Project Manager’s main mission will be to challenge internal business units in delivering the vision as well as the strategic goals defined by the company, establishing and managing relevant strategic projects for the different business areas in what concerns, both, the revenue of the projects as well as its pertinence in terms of added value they may bring to each area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise the coordination and management of a strategic plan, in the first phase of the project, including research, planning, organization, staffing and management and control of the projects´ key activities;
  • Manage interdependence amongst the department´s different ongoing projects;
  • Identify problematic situations, pin point their causes, gather and process relevant information, suggest solutions and make recommendations and or/ solve the problem that was identified.

Hard skills

  • Masters in Management, Economy or Engineering;
  • Previous professional experience from 3 to 5 years in managing high complexity projects;
  • Previous professional experience in a Consulting firm, in the SO (Strategic Operations department) is valued;
  • Fluent in written and oral English;
  • Experience in creating and managing partnerships with external entities.

Soft skills

  • Excellent relationship skills;
  • Outgoing and talkative profile;
  • Good sales drive; hunter sales profile;
  • Ability to think Out of the Box;
  • Business vision and ability to implement Innovation projects;
  • The Strategy Consultant will report to the Strategy and Reporting area´s Manager. As a strategy consultant you will be responsible for evaluating, prioritizing and sizing new strategic opportunities, supporting the development of the business’s long-term strategy.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for evaluating, prioritizing and sizing new strategic opportunities, supporting the development of the business’s long-term strategy, helping Managers to identify solutions to complex strategic problems;
  • Develop good market knowledge in order to become an asset for internal stakeholders, giving relevant insights about subjects such as market trends, competitors, amongst others, which may positively influence the company´s current business, positioning it as a reference player in terms of innovative products and services, when comparing with the competition.

Hard skills

  • Masters in Management, Economy or Engineering;
  • Professional experience of 3 to 5 years;
  • Previous experience in Strategy Consultancy firms, Financial Services, Insurance or Health related companies;
  • Fluent in written and oral English;
  • Previous experience in companies with a real innovation DNA;
  • International professional experience is valued.

  • Ability to create and maintain good personal relationships;
  • Ability to interact and make presentations for different hierarchical levels;
