The Partner Marketing Director is a key leadership role within Microsoft’s partner engagement strategy as part of our One Commercial Partner Organization.
The role will lead the Go-to-Market strategy and execution plan to create market demand across the region by working with the Partner Development Manager and the Channel Management teams.
This leadership role will need to recruit, develop and retain a team of high performance Partner Marketing Advisors, Go-to-Market Advisors, and Partner Channel Marketing Managers to drive Go-to-Market execution.
The role will work across Microsoft and the partner organization to align Go-to-Market goals with partner offerings. The seniority of the role evidences Microsoft’s deep commitment to the partner ecosystem to build a mutually beneficial business relationship by working closely with partner senior leadership.
The Partner Marketing Director represents Microsoft to the channel, communicates our strategy, sells our vision and brings partners along in the digital transformation journey. The outcome will be to create marketing leads and pipeline to drive long-term revenue, cloud consumption and digital transformation through a set of practices leading to workload/industry based co-sell.
Subsidiary Partner Workload Plan & Results: Build and grow channel capacity, co-sell enablement and revenue with partners by leading the Go-to-Market strategy and execution plan across the region. Own localization of One Commercial Partner industry solution maps for region. Build relationships with senior level contacts at strategic partners’ organizations to help develop and execute their Go-to-Market strategy with Microsoft. Lead orchestration and partnership between the PDM manager and the Co-Sell leads to support partner planning and Go-to-Market execution.
Top Partner Go-to-Market: Build deep expertise in supporting Top Partner Go-to-Market through advisory services, offer development, enablement and marketing / sales campaigns that produce above average growth.
Team Leadership: Recruit, retain and manage a world class high performance team. Oversee and be responsible for team commitments and strive for success. Be a team leader who sets aspirational goals and drives team towards success while ensuring effective teaming and coordination across Go-to-Market roles, Build With and Co-Sell teams to win business and remove blockers.
Business Orchestration: Orchestrate planning and governance execution across segments and business groups, track progress, capture key learnings and deep insights and share with pertinent virtual teams and Corporate. Oversee Go-to-Market budget for region; identify, select, and invest in highest impact partners to maximize business results and meet scorecard goals. Identify need for COE and create and execute plan through Go-to-Market team as required. Drive “always-on” programmatic engagement to achieve scale.
