Trade Marketing development for a national a Portuguese and Spanish portfolio of customers across both grocery retail and wholesale cash & carry. As a member of the European Sales team, the TME role is responsible for the delivering the pre-defined annual ‘go to market’ and Annual Operating Plan activities, within allocated customer base in partnership with their sales accounts colleagues. The TME role represents the entire European Business portfolio of sugars, sweeteners, syrups and any future new product developments that are to be made available in the Iberian marketplace. The role [within the current business structure] will focus 80:20 on both Portugal and Spain and where necessary support other European Market requirements. The role reports into the European Customer Marketing Manager.
The TME role is targeted to both support and implement the delivery of sustainable value added business initiatives to maximise sales and profits within the Portuguese and Spanish grocery retail sales channel. Effectiveness is to be ensured through excellence in planning, application of market insight, effective communication and the management of sugar and syrup product groups and trade partnerships to excel at meeting shopper needs.
The TME will be expected to own and deliver the development and execution of planned product, branded and new business opportunities within a grocery retail sales channel:
Support Customer European Marketing Manager with contribution to: Business Innovation strategy, Branding strategy, Adhoc research, Channel strategy, Creative development, Overall business performance
