POSITION OVERVIEW

Working with Corporate functions and Human Resources (HR) business partners, the Portugal HR manager & HR Business Partner for Finance and Customer Service EIMEA will provide HR leadership for business partners and stakeholders, ensuring that activities within the specific geographic and functional units in its area of responsibility are aligned with Corporate and regional strategies. He/She will be expected to develop and implement programmes/policies that maximize the organization’s effectiveness in achieving its mission and other stated business goals. All efforts will be aligned with the operational and Corporate/Group HR strategies.

This position reports to the EIMEA HR director and will join the EIMEA HR Leadership Team as well as the leadership teams of the assigned business units. He/She will work very closely with teams to execute/implement HR programmes and processes that are legally compliant and culturally appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for accomplished, experienced HR professional, with proven ability to develop and implement strategy, drive change, manage complex projects and build key relationships in order to achieve results.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline; MBA, post-graduation or MAIR preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in similar HR function within a multinational company
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in similar HR function working with multicultural stakeholders and preferrably with Industry background
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change in order to achieve business results.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership.
  • Significant people or project management experience.
  • Strong business acumen, including data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of human capital management principles.
  • Strategic perspective.
  • Must be able to operate effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Proven communication and team skills.
  • Must be hands-on, results-oriented and customer-driven.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Availability to travel internationally.
