The Marketing Analytics Lead role reports to Central Marketing Organization (CMO) lead as part of the M&O field organization. CMO leads the holistic marketing communications discipline across the subsidiary and in some cases the Multi-Sub Areas (MSAs). It provides end-to-end marketing communications planning, strategy, execution and optimization, and is the center of excellence for Social and Digital marketing.

CMO drives Marketing LT Governance across Consumer and Commercial and Services businesses and segments, and is instrumental in driving marketing transformation infrastructure and policies (i.e., MOGS Steering Committee). The Marketing Analytics Lead role provides key marketing operations leadership while delivering insights and local knowledge based on analytics and business intelligence to inform business and marketing decisions within the subsidiary (e.g. agency relationships, MCS services expertise, execution planning, marketing efficiency measurement, scorecard target attainment, and data strategy).

This role directly impacts the overall execution of all Area/Subsidiary sales and marketing activities by leveraging marketing data to create insights that yield additional revenue opportunities and improve CPE. The Marketing Analytics Lead role supports the roll-out of key marketing and sales processes and tools, and owns customer data acquisition, maintenance and quality strategies across the Area’s/Subsidiary’s SMSG team.

The impact you will be making:

  • Coordinate with Marcom GTM Lead(s), Segment Leads, and BPO team, serving as primary point-of-contact to steer the Area’s/Subsidiary’s Marketing Insights and Campaign Reporting in alignment with corporate guidance (ROMI) and in partnership with Marketing Service Center resourcing by driving local strategy for: (30% of time)
  • Marketing workflow/operational excellence
  • Execution planning
  • Measurement
  • Optimization strategy
  • Advance organization’s marketing operations excellence by: (30% of time)
  • Evangelizing the utilization of marketing tools/processes, engines and data in alignment with corporate initiatives
  • Managing the RM retainer and relationships with agencies and the MSC in pursuit of efficiencies
  • Supporting RoB priorities with planned and ad-hoc operational insights
  • Serve as Area’s/Subsidiary’s subject matter expert on marketing analytics, advocating for data-driven decision making, and demonstrating an “Analytics Throughout” marketing mentality through the usage of analytical models to drive effectiveness at every stage of marketing (planning, execution, post-mortem). (20% of time)
  • Provide thought leadership to drive the organization’s marketing data and customer insight strategy (incl. CRM) with respect to data acquisition, data management and data quality. (20% of time)

Furthermore, the right candidate for this position comes with:

  • Candidates must have at least 6 years of database marketing / decision support experience with three of those years in a management capacity.
  • Familiarity with BI and sales & marketing applications is expected.
  • Strong management presence with excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong English skills – written and verbal
  • Professional training and certification:
  • Database management skills
  • Technical familiarity with analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, SQL, Excel, Access)
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Information Technology, Decision Analysis, Marketing required.
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred but not required.
