Purpose and mission summary:

  • Application specific solution consulting (preference for S/4HANA Finance and/or Logistics);
  • Technical team leader as part of project delivery;
  • Support to Services sales (pre-sales activities).

Key tasks:

  • Application specific solution consulting
    • Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews;
    • Detailed planning of process implementation;
    • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements;
    • Industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications;
    • Develop and assure quality of process models;
    • Demonstrating profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools;
  • Technical team leader as part of broader project delivery structure
    • Responsible for the solution design and implementation, whenever applicable;
    • Coordination of technical / functional project delivery team;
    • Detailed planning of activities in articulation with Project Manager;
    • Supervision and control of execution;
  • Support to Services sales
    • Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from prospective Services customers in order to build relationships with the customers and understand their unique needs;
    • Compose and deliver sales presentations covering SAP solutions to potential Services customers (the presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audience);
    • Prepare and deliver value-based solutions demonstrations/presentations in support of Services sales cycle;
    • Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective Services customers;
    • Design solutions and support the construction of proposals (define scope and estimations).

Experience, education and background:

  • Background with SAP-products, especially SAP HANA, or SAP HANA based solutions is seen as a benefit;
  • Good presentation and communication skills;
  • Functional experience
    • Minimum six years consulting experience in application;
    • Has experience with minimum of five full cycle implementations;
    • Good understanding of industry specific business processes (preference for Retail, Utilities or Telco);
    • Has performed at least one feasibility study;
    • Understands the Business Process Library approach and is contributing to it;
  • Managerial experience
    • Demonstrates 3-4 successful engagements leading small teams on small to mid-sized deals;
    • Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub project leader / technical team leader;
    • Acts as a coach for colleagues;
  • Education
    • University degree;
    • English: Proficient (oral and written).
