Typical responsibilities of the job include

  • Identifying and establishing new business
  • Organising sales visits
  • Liaising with existing clients
  • Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
  • Providing pre-sales and after-sales support
  • Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
  • Reviewing cost and sales performance
  • Writing reports and sales literature
  • Providing product education and advice
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings

Your responsibilities will be to

  • Understand each customer`s development and production requirements and goals
  • Understand, assess and propose solutions for resolving customer questions and issues
  • Design and implement solutions with the clients product suite
  • Learn and utilize the clients implementation methodology to support successful, consistent and high quality implementations of their solutions
  • Work in a team environment and be willing to travel to the customer locations to perform work
  • Help the customer transition to their new solution and provide knowledge transfer and mentoring
  • Platform setup and software installations on customer sites
  • Architecture High Level Design
  • Supporting the sales team with technical expertise around Juniper product portfolio
  • Assisting with bid opportunities
  • Delivering customer presentations, workshops and POCs
  • Liaising with underlying carriers / 3rd parties where solution requires
  • Providing detailed technical solution documentation to customers and service delivery
  • Technical understanding of Juniper products and solutions
  • A proven track record within pre-sales in a technical business-to-business environment
  • Several years’ experience within the telecommunications industry
  • Practical experience with up to date certifications with Juniper and/or Cisco products
