  • Maintenance and development of meaningful key customer relationships Market development and prospection for automotive, consumer, and industrial business segments in Portugal and Spain
  • Development and implementation of growth strategies by identifying customer needs and translating them into viable specifications
  • Translation of applications
  • Review of profitability per customer and account receivables
  • Review and implementation of pricing strategies & supporting contract negotiations
  • Review and compilation of competitive information for Input into Sales strategy updates
  • Supporting customer complaint handling and commercial settlement process


  • Academic degree in a technical, scientific or a commercial discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience
  • Understanding of engineering plastics related applications in the automotive, consumer, and industrial segments
  • Experience in executing pricing strategies with the focus on value capture
  • Proven track of identifying and proactively pursuing new business opportunities
  • Strategic approach followed by business understanding and drive for results
  • Strong negotiator with superb interpersonal skills
  • Native Portugese and fluent English essential, Spanish skills desirable
  • Readiness to travel about 75% of the time
