Work as experienced JAVA Software Engineer to develop Software Defined Network Management Systems for Optical Transport Networks. The candidate will work as an integral part of a cross-functional development team doing everything to deliver high quality software and create value to the organization.
She/he will participate in the complete development cycle, including analysis, design implementation and tests of the features that are in their scope of responsibility, using Feature Driven Development approach, combined with some agile practices in a container-based microservices architecture. An active participation in team decisions to continuous improve our methods, software and team satisfaction is expected.
This job requires a broad knowledge of software engineering practices and design patterns with focus on Java development. The main challenge is to analyze the requirements and features from our Product Management, have a depth understanding about what is being required and solve the problem from software engineering perspective. You will be also debugging the existing versions and propose enhancements taking into account the cost/benefit relation.
