We are looking for a smart, talented and experienced B2B marketing manager to join the Microsoft Western Europe (WE) team of the Small Business, Mid-market, Solutions & Partners Division (SMS&P). The adoption of cloud services is exploding and Microsoft’s industry leading partner channel is enabling Corporate Customers and Small and Medium Business (SMB) customers in Western Europe to leverage enterprise-grade technology at affordable cost. The SMS&P division continues to be a tremendous growth engine for Microsoft. In order to capitalize on this growth opportunity we must stay sharply focused on the needs of the customers as the North Star whilst focusing on marketing that inspires, educates and connects with customers throughout the lifecycle of their relationship with Microsoft.


He/she will lead and execute strategic planning, execution and investments aligned to FY17 priorities to drive revenue, scorecard and share, focused on the following core responsibilities

The WE Partner Channel Marketing Manager Customer (PCMM Customer), is a core leadership role that orchestrates the WE SMS&P region go-to-market strategy across Corporate account (CA) & SMB. It is pivotal to driving growth through direct to customer engines.

  • Leading, owning and driving the end to end direct to customer marketing strategy and planning for the SMS&P across channels
  • Driving demand generation programs, measured by pipeline generation & close rate, in partnership with Microsoft Central Marketing Organization, partner field teams and external Marketing Agencies (e.g. TeleMarketing, Digital Marketing).
  • Building & executing a new Customer Lifecycle Management approach – acquisition & engagement : from data insights to customer clustering, planning a targeted digital media campaign. Objective being to unleash more cloud business growth from top customers in WE.
  • Successfully driving the evolution of marketing: leveraging all Corp marketing platforms, tools and capabilities to ensure a world-class experience for our customers and partners
  • Orchestrating the direct to customer Marketing execution across our 12 WE subsidiaries in partnership with the field stakeholders
  • Adjusting plans according to performance of Demand gen activities and business needs

The Key Traits Of a World-class PCMM Customer (Direct Marketing Lead) Include

  • Candidates must have at least 10 years of proven Marketing experience (Digital) with extremely strong marketing operations background and ideally experiences on media
  • High commercial acumen, strategic ability and drive for results
  • Excellent collaborator in driving leadership across partners, segments, product groups, field teams and Corp teams
  • Must be able to deliver strong insights through proven business acumen and data-driven analysis
  • Strong project management capabilities driving execution across multiple geographies and operating in a complex environment
  • Excellent communication skills at executive level
