In a pre-sales function, the Optimization Client Solution Professional (Optimization Specialist) will work directly with Sales Representatives and prospects to identify the technical fit between IBM’s Decision optimization technology and customer needs. Demonstrate and explain the benefits of Optimization. Maintain a technical liaison with existing clients and provide sufficient optimization expertise to establish credibility for DEcision Optimization abilities and value proposition.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing business value as well as technical presentations and product demonstrations, developing proof-of-concept prototypes, assisting with feasibility studies, providing technical follow-up with prospects and contribute to technical proposals, RFI’s and RFP’s.
  • Supporting marketing activities including trade shows and industry webinars.
  • Delivering live workshops to prospects and customers throughout Spain, Portugal, Israel and Greece.

Candidates should have a good understanding of mathematical programming and computer programming.
