Your role: Develops and directs marketing programs for a significant product or product category; Establishes marketing strategies including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development to manage a product or product category’s life cycle; Interfaces with suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications; Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates. Your tasks include conducting promotional campaigns and public relations for the assigned area, but also the responsibility to promote cross-area cooperation.
You are in charge of elaborating marketing concepts for a specific product and its positioning within the local market in coordination with internal customer and aligned with global marketing strategy.
As a specialist you solve a range of straightforward problems through knowledge, analytical skills and experience and ensure the adherence of guidelines and processes for your area of responsibility.
Applying your know-how and judgement you analyze factual information and possible solutions and make decisions and recommendations and thereby contribute to the achievement of the objectives of General Marketing and your Business Unit.
