Microsoft is proactively engaging in a transition to becoming a cloud-first, mobile-first company. As part of this transformation, the world wide specialist sales team (WWSTU) is creating a new Enterprise Mobility sales role to land in subsidiaries worldwide. These Enterprise Mobility TSP (Technical Sales Professional) will be responsible for the technical the sale of Microsoft’s cross platform mobility infrastructure (Identity, Security, Management, Desktop Virtualization) in our Enterprise accounts. Collectively, these sellers will represent an elite team who will lead Microsoft’s transition to provide cross platform mobility services in accounts.


Provide pre-sales technical support to enable customers and partners to architecture, develop, deploy and consume EMS (Enterprise Mobility Suite). Own and drive technical portions of pre-sales opportunities from lead generation through to deployment and consumption by driving technical presentations, demonstrations, ADSs, PoC’s and Pilots, leveraging P-Sellers, partners or MCS as needed. Act with superior customer focus in mind as an integral member of Microsoft sales teams in generating excitement to fill sales pipeline, accelerate technical sales cycle and secure technical closure using deep technical expertise in the core domain as well as in adjacent technologies. Maintain and expand skill set on required Microsoft soft skills, sales skills and deployment and consumption capabilities. Help to maintain and expand skill set of customers, partner and internal staff on core product sets. Demonstrate the business value of related solutions based on an understanding of the customer’s enterprise IT architecture, customer Business priorities and the competitive landscape. Orchestrate cross-workload solutions and engage with TSPs from other workloads. Participate in the broader industry through blogs, whitepapers, events, and articles for the specific domain. Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements including customer impact and communicate competitive intelligence from the field.


  • 3-5 year of related technical pre-sales experience preferred and/or technical consultant roles
  • Superior presentation skills with strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of customer roles / level to influencing for impact
  • Exceptional problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and external resources when needed to drive for results

Qualifier for more senior persons (IC 5 and above)

  • 5-8 year of related technical pre-sales experience preferred and/or technical consultant roles including ability to design Tech Architecture
  • Proven experience engaging with senior level executives

Able to communicate complex concepts in a simple, business value context with proven white boarding capabilities
