Process Engineer

This role reports to the Site Manager.

Description:

Monitoring of the production process, analysis and reporting failures;
Define and implement different processes;
Provide adequate training to operators in operational areas;
Analyze the evolution of the operations control indicators and work together with the operational team to keep them under control;
Apply quality concepts allied to continuous improvement tools;
Participate in projects to implement Lean methodologies for process optimization;
Develop a plan of improvement actions and/or corrective actions;
Support planning, organization, analysis and decision making.

Required:

Technical/Engineering Degree;
3 years minimum of manufacturing environment experience, particularly in the plastics industry;
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools including Yellow/Green Belt training will be a plus;
Fluent in English;
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, namely Excel, Outlook and Word;
SAP experience will be valued;
High organizational skills, information analysis and critical thinking;
Willingness and dedication to work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment focused on excellence;
Ability to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines;
High sense of responsibility, proactivity and commitment;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, associated with persuasiveness and assertiveness;
Availability to travel.
