Power electronics and battery systems lab technician

VG CoLAB is a Collaborative Laboratory that focus its activities on electrochemistry and power electronics applied R&D and prototyping for innovative high-performance hybrid Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for demanding applications, and its smart integration in microgrids, maximizing RES use.

We are looking for an action driven person with strong organization skills, willing to cooperate with a multidisciplinary team, and eager to learn and grow with VG CoLAB.

Profile:

Highly motivated person, with strong organization skills, willing to cooperate with a multidisciplinary team, and eager to learn and grow with VG CoLAB. Technical competences involve practical handover of power electronics devices (unifilar schemes, electrical protection devices, terminal connections, etc.) and measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, data loggers, etc.) for the preparation of power electronics and battery systems prototype testing
Previous experience in soldering PCB’s, read PCB layouts and schematics
3D CAD design and mechanical assembly of electrical cabinets (it’s a plus)
Experience in laboratory risk management (health and safety)
Experience in logistics/acquisition management and equipment calibration
Experience in third parties training for lab practices

Lab consumables purchases
