Trainee doctors in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Moniva Staffing is looking for doctors in specialty training (ST) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry interested in working in Västervik, Kalmar County, Sweden.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Free Swedish language course (duration 6 months), financial support during the training.

  • Your salary will be negotiable depending on your competences.
  • The minimum starting salary will be 35 000 SEK (approx. € 3380) a month for the first 6 months, while you are waiting for your license to practice. After this period, the salary raises to 40.000 SEK (approx. € 3870) a month. Then varies on annual salary reviews basis. Specialist salaries range between 60-80 000 SEK (approx. €5800 – 7700) a month.
  • Travel and accommodation costs related to a face to face interview in Sweden are paid by the employer.
  • A possibility of free language education for family members – depends on individual arrangements.
  • Informal help during the application for a Swedish license to practice, supervision of the process.

Junior Doctor – Clinical Physiology

For our business partner, we are currently looking for clinical physiologists (Junior doctor at the physiological unit with the goal of becoming a trainee doctor and finally a specialist in Clinical Physiology) for Gävleborg county, Sweden. You will be carrying out examinations on patients referred from both primary care and various hospital specialties. The activity is mainly outpatient but also a lot of emergency examinations are carried out. A number of different types of investigations are performed at the department and most of them relate to the function of the heart, blood vessel, and lungs. Ultrasound, Exertional ECG, Long-term ECG, and lung function tests are commonplace. Clinical Physiology also includes Nuclear Medicine with a large number of different scintigraphy of among others skeletal, heart, thyroid, kidneys, parathyroid etc. In the department, the examinations are performed, interpreted and responded, but the further follow-up and treatment are the responsibility of the referred doctor.

Main requirements:

  • EU nationality.
  • Hold the relevant degree/qualifications.
  • A clinical experience in medical activities, especially cardiology, is an advantage as well as radiological experience, however, it is not a requirement.
  • Good language learning skills.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Good social skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

  • An initial salary of € 41 000 SEK (approx. €3940) a month for a junior doctor; trainee doctor € 44 000 SEK (approx. €4230) a month.
