Our Frames Division is looking for a Automation/robotics process specialist to be based in Sao Joao de Madeira (Portugal)

The robotics / automation process specialist is responsible for the automatism and robotic setup of jigs and machines (welding cell, assembly line, individual station).

Main objectives are:

  • Support process specialists during project industrialization phases (feasibility, cycle time evaluation, set up…)
  • Start robotic cells in order to reach targets defined during the award (cycle time, cost, quality, planning)
  • In charge of tools set up tools inside robotic cells (on automation/robotic point of view)
  • Define and optimize welding parameters (Laser, MAG or electrical welding)
  • Able to provide a progress of his work
  • Write technical notices for the final user (plant)
  • Able to analyze the right datas to optimize cycle time and to solve problem
  • Drive and/or support our suppliers during Project phases from Automation/Robotic point of view.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Diploma : BAC+2/3
  • Experience: 5 years mini in automotive industry
  • Technical skills:
    • Ability to set up and troubleshoot robotic/automatic installation in a production environment
    • Knoweldge in welding (laser/MAG/resistance
    • Able to set up robotic system (6 axis, idealy KUKA, ABB, YASKAWA) and jig integration
    • Good knowledge in:
      • SIEMENS Step 7 – TIA Portal
      • IHM programmation (winccflexible, Proface)
    • Industrial network (Profibus, ASI bus, Profinet, Interbus….)
  • Autonomous, rigorous, good relationship, ability to work in foreign or plant environment
  • Language : Portuguese, English (able to communicate, write and read), French (not mandatory)
  • Availability to travel to follow/support our Suppliers and Customer’s plants in Portugal, France, East of Europe.
  • Available to work sometimes (only when needed) in shifts (3*8) or during week-end, to fit with Plant’s time constraints.

Our Comfort & Trim System Division is looking for a Program Manager for its site based in São João de Madeira (Portugal).

From program award until handover to production site, the program manager has the overall responsibility of the program in all aspects:

  • Lead program team as functional manager, with an entrepreneurial mindset,
  • Meet financial targets (Operating Income, cash, Internal Rate of Return, Upfronts…)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction (timing, quality, costs, product performance…)
  • Plan and execute all activities which contribute to program success
  • Ensure compliance code of ethics and code of management and escalate non-compliance items according to guidelines
  • Protect Faurecia interests and image

(S)he has to:

  • Secure staffing of the whole Core Team from the functions, in due time
  • Build and monitor Master Schedule

  • Use Business Plan to monitor permanently convergence to financial expectations
  • Manage the core team and ensure cooperation with the functions and the plant(s),

The Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer supports the program buyer by managing the supplier’s performance (timing, quality, delivery, service) during program development to launch.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Deploys APQP related to development phase (or current production phase) of Bought out parts following Faurecia Purchasing requirements
  • Trains the suppliers and makes sure that the defined standards are properly applied and on time delivered (APQP elements).
  • Follows the APQP progress with the status report and make decisions in collaboration with the program team.
  • Gives recommendations on technical choices to ensure the product/process robustness during program development (for both suppliers and Faurecia plant)
  • Manages the process qualification at supplier (control plan and quality basics implementation, mass production trial & process Audits
  • Pronounces PPAP status and Ensures to deliver validated PPAP prior Start of Production (SOP) after SQA assembly trial & appearance approvals
  • Monitors PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and S/R rate.
  • Secures all Key characteristics (Safety and Regulations) during Program phase.
  • Manages progress/convergence plan with low performance suppliers involved in program in collaboration with division SQD

Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group – Frames Division is looking for a VIE Program Buyer m/f for its site in Sao Joao Da Madeira, PR.

The Program Buyer is responsible for managing interface between program and suppliers, anticipating the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), and ensuring the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the program. The role selects and pilots suppliers from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives. The Program Buyer belongs to the program core team within a Division/Region. Low complexity programs (# of parts, spend, geographic scope, etc).

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFQ (Request for Quotation) based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers.
  • Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyer in supplier negotiations and the final choice of supplier (leads sourcing committee process to select suppliers from list provided by commodity buyers)
